Kool London, formerly Kool FM, is perhaps the best known and truly legendary hardcore, jungle and drum & bass pirate to have emerged in London at the start of the 90s. The station maintained a regular presence on the airwaves until a few years ago, and made a return in 2021 after a brief absence. Here, I am posting a recording I made in April 2016, four years before I had started the London FM Dial Project. While I am currently struggling to pick up their signal at my location, the archives would in no way be complete without a Kool London set!

This upload marks our 100th post at the London FM Dial Project and we have chosen a special set for this occasion.
In short order, Infrared FM have established themselves as a station that – in our opinion – comes closest to the original vibe and spirit of the legendary jungle and hardcore pirates of the 90s. Those of you who remember listening to Pulse FM, Don FM and the Weekend Rush will know what we mean by that. Wishing all the followers of the London FM Dial Project a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2022!
